Sophie is a writer, editor, teacher and performer based in Warwickshire, UK. If words are involved, she's there!

After studying English Literature at the University of Warwick (gaining a first class degree with honours), Sophie worked in a secondary school before undertaking teacher training. She gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2018 and spent the next three years working as an English teacher.

​

Since leaving the classroom, Sophie has worked with a range of educational publishers in both writing and editing roles. She is also a freelance writer and fiction editor.

 

Sophie completed an MA in Comedy Writing with Falmouth University in 2025, achieving grade distinction, and has a portfolio of work for screen and audio.
